Track at Union Local Invite

   
 

 
   

On Friday, April 26, both Harrison’s Central girl and boy track teams participated in Union Local’s invitational. The girls' track team finished with 5th out of the six teams. The boys’ team finished 5th out of the eight teams.

Softball Defeats Buckeye Trail

   
 

 
   

On Friday, April 26, the softball team traveled to Buckeye Trail to take on the Warriors. The team came home with a win with a score of 11-1.

Baseball Falls to Wheelersburg

   
 

 
   

On Saturday, April 27, the baseball team went against Wheelersburg High School. Unfortunately, we were defeated by Wheelersburg with a score of 12-1.

Junior Varsity Softball Defeated by John Glenn

   
 

 
    The junior varsity softball team hosted John Glenn on Saturday, April 27, for a double header. The girls fell short in both games with scores of 19-9 and 14-0.    
   

Baseball Defeated at Edison

   
 

 
   

On Monday, April, 29 the baseball team faced off against Edison. Despite putting up a strong fight, the Huskies ultimately fell short with a final score of 6-5.

Junior Varsity Softball Defeated by Buckeye Local

   
 

 
   

Monday, April 29, the junior varsity softball team traveled to Buckeye Local. They sadly were defeated with a final score of 12-5.

Track OVAC Semi-Final

   
 

 
   

The track team traveled to St. Clairsville on Monday, April 29, to participate in the OVAC Semi-Final. Those moving onto the finals for the boys include: Beau Rinkes 110m & 300m Hurdles, Hunter Bittinger 400m Dash, Tyler Garbrandt 800m Run, Aiden Hays 3200m Run, Hunter Boals Shot Put, Chace Byers Pole Vault, and Trenten Allison Pole Vault. Finalists for the girls include: 4 x 800m Relay (Keira Kelley, Hannah Grady, Gretchin Dulkoski, & Grace Miller), Gretchin Dulkoski 3200m Run, Katherine Shearer Discus, and Teagan Parks Pole Vault.

Softball Takes On Edison

   
 

 
   

On Tuesday, April, 30 the softball team traveled to Edison. The junior varsity girls played outstanding and won with a score of 12-2. The varsity girls, however, lost their game 6-0.

Junior High Track Hosts Tri

   
 

 
   

On Tuesday, April 30, the junior high track team had a home tri meet against Martins Ferry and Barnesville. The results on the night were: boys tied for second, with 31 points, while the girls came in third with 46 points.

On Wednesday, May 1, the softball team hosted the Cambridge Bobcats for senior night. The Huskies ended up winning with a score of 3-0. Pictured (left to right) are seniors: Aubrey Wood, Rylee Smith, and Isabel Yeager.

    The baseball team hosted Bellaire on Wednesday, May 1. Unfortunately, the Huskies came up short with a final score of 3-2.

On Thursday, May 2, the baseball team played Buckeye Local, at home. The game was close, however it ended with a win with the final score of 7-2.

On Thursday, May 2, the junior high track team went to St. Clairsville for their OVAC track meet. The boys placed 23rd out of 37 teams, and the girls placed 37th.

    The softball team traveled to Buckeye Local on Thursday, May 2, to take on the Panthers. The girls were victorious with a score of 14-4.    
   

Last Day of After School Tutoring

   
 

 
    Students attending the after school tutoring program enjoyed a movie and popcorn to celebrate their last day.    
   

Positive Behavior

   
 

 
   

Students continue to be recognized for doing things the "Huskies Way" in the classroom. They were Leah Grady, Nathen Dulkoski, Tyleigh Rice, Allessa Dorn, Aiden Salyers, Bailey Smith, and the group of boys for including a new student.

    Our after school students celebrated the end of the after school program with games and a movie in the outdoor learning center!
