On Friday, January 12, the girls’ and boys’ bowling teams went to the EOBL Baker Tournament, which was hosted in St. Clairsville. The boys’ team finished in first place, while the girls placed fourth.

Junior High Boys’ Basketball Splits with Conotton Valley

On January 13, the junior high boys’ basketball team traveled to Conotton Valley. The 7th grade boys unfortunately were defeated in a close loss, 29-25. The 8th grade, on the other hand, ended up taking a huge win with the final score being 20-7.

On Saturday, January 13, the 8th grade girls’ basketball team faced off against Conotton Valley, at home. The girls secured the win with a final score of 49-11.

On January 14, the competition cheer teams traveled to Massillon Washington. The junior high cheerleaders placed first. The high school teams, both traditional and non-tumble, placed second.

On January 16, the bowling teams hosted Union Local. The boys were victorious with a score of 2151-2053, while the girls fell short with a score of 1514-1415.

On Wednesday, January 17, the junior high boys’ basketball team hosted Union Local. The 7th grade fell short in a close one, with a score of 24-21. Following that, the 8th grade defeated the Jets with a score of 31-23.

On Wednesday, January 17, the girls’ basketball team traveled to Malvern. This was a varsity only game. They beat the Hornets with a score of 48-43.

On Thursday, January 18, both bowling teams faced off against Martins Ferry. The boys team came out on top with a score of 1790-1785, while the girls team fell short with a score of 1346-1496.

On Thursday, January 18, the junior high girls’ basketball team played against St. Clairsville. Both 7th and 8th grade teams won. The 7th grade finished with a 29-26 win, and the 8th grade finished with a 49-25 win.
