Message from the Principal

A man with short, graying hair smiles at the camera.Dear Parents and Students,

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Harrison Central Elementary! We are looking forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces as we begin another year of learning, growth, and opportunity. Our staff is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where every student feels valued and inspired to reach their highest potential.

As we prepare for the start of the school year, please take a moment to review these important reminders:

  • Parents, please complete and update all required student forms through FinalForms before the first day of school. FinalForms can be accessed at this link.. If you need assistance, please contact the main office at (740) 942-7600.
  • Initial school supplies for students will be provided by the school district. Supplies will be distributed during the first week of school.
  • Thursday, August 14 – Join us for our Back-to-School Rally at the Stephenson Center Gymnasium/Parking Lot from 3:00–5:00 p.m. Come celebrate the start of a new school year with family-friendly activities and community partners.
  • Tuesday, August 19 – Open House will be held from 9:30–11:30 a.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to meet teachers, visit classrooms, and prepare for the first day of school.
  • Thursday, August 20 – First Day of School for students. The school day runs from 7:55 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. Please note that school doors will open at 7:35 a.m.

We're excited for another great year of learning, growth, and success. Thank you for your continued partnership and support.

Go Huskies!!!

Respectfully,

Kenneth M. Parker
